Here is an excellent certification course for Embedded System Beginners from ARM. The course is available via the Edx platform and is available in both web and mobile app.
The certification consists of 2 separate course with 10 Modules. Upon completion of the two courses, the candidates are eligible for a Professional Certificate from ARM.
The courses are completely free to be audited (i.e. learning without certification). However the candidates can choose to pay for the certificates (either one or both).
